Extraordinary Annual General Meeting

Following on from the re-launch viability meeting held on 21st October, I am pleased to be able to give notice of the EAGM below, which will formally re-establish Bridgend Green Party as an independent Local Party.

We will be a satellite of Swansea Green Party, in the sense that Swansea is the centre of South Wales West Region, to which we belong. Swansea Green Party will continue to co-ordinate things on a regional level, and with this in mind, we will continue to maintain a presence at Swansea meetings. I would also like to put on record my sincere thanks for all the support and encouragement that we have had from the Swansea Party, and Keith, Tony, Huw and Kathleen in particular.

If anyone would like to join me and Delyth at the next Swansea meeting you would be very welcome to a lift with us (I have room for 4 others, he says optimistically!).
It is on Tuesday 2nd November. We need to leave Bridgend by 7.00pm.

Bridgend Greens gear up for re-launch

On the 21st of October a meeting was held at the Haywain in Bridgend to assess the feasibility of restarting the local party in Bridgend. A few Swansea locals turned up to offer their support and the meeting went quite well.

Andy Chyba and Delyth Miller who have been attending the Swansea meetings are to thank for organising the event and hopefully will be able to establish a long running local party.
